Well, I’ll try and catch up on all the stats, but I’m sitll lagging a bit behind at the moment. Still, these tips are for Tuesday’s action and I’m sorry if you’re getting a bit confused, but the weather is still playing havoc at the moment.

Also, sorry about the delay for Day Five’s tips, we had a slight technical issue with them, but we should be sorted now! Wednesday looks like a great day for us and there’s certainly one or two bets right up my street and we’ll be hopeful of building on the recent success.

Here are all the free bets on offer during the PDC World Championships

Michael van Gerwen vs Mensur Suljovic.

As stupid as this might sound, this is the match I’ve been waiting for in this first round of matches. It’s not because I think it will be a classic, but I think the bookies might have got this one slightly wrong. Michael van Gerwen hasn’t looked a shade of his former self in recent yeras and Mensur Suljovic has impressed me in the past. Suljovic’s performance at the PDC World Cup was outstanding and if he recreates that form here, then van Gerwen could be in a lot of trouble.

Suljovic is coming in strong, which is important, while van Gerwen didn’t impress in his last TV outing at the Grand Slam of Darts, so we’ll be looking to get Suljovic on our side and I think we can do so with confidence.

Mensur Suljovic to beat Michael van Gerwen 11/10 @ Stan James.

Recommend: 3 units @ 11/10.

Michael Mansell vs Preston Ridd (Prelim match).

Another prelim match between two players I know very little about, so to keep things concise, we’ll leave this match well alone.

Recommend: No bet.

Terry Jenkins vs Joe Cullen.

Terry Jenkins has found himself in a little bit of form at the moment, after a slow year by his standards. This match should be a nice warm-up for him, as I can’t see Joe Cullen causing him too many problems. Jenkins’ high scoring is his forte and should carry him through. The price is unbelievably short, but probably rightly so. It’s a match to assess him well Jenkins is playing so we have that information for later rounds.

Recommend: No bet.

Jelle Klaasen vs Steve Brown.

This was a big year for Steve Brown, as he had a good run at the World Grand Prix, making the last 16 and impressive a lot of people, myself included. While his stats haven’t been great, they’ve been consistent, just like his opponent, Jelle Klaasen. Both men have been playing to a similar level this year and although Klaasen is a former world champion, his best form seems behind him, which is sad considering his age.

Klaasen does like the venue, but Brown should have enough to keep up with Klaasen, if not more. Brown’s price is nice enough, so we have to have a nibble, just because Klaasen isn’t convincing and we have to take him on against most players when he’s such a short price.

Steve Brown to beat Jelle Klaasen 13/8 @ Boylesports.

Recommend: 1 unit.

Vincent van der Voort vs Mansell/Ridd.

Well, not much to say because the match isn’t yet known and there are no prices. VDV should come through comfortably if he’s fit, but stranger things have happened. That being said, I can see this being a bad night for the Dutch, so hopefully VDV can do something to steady the ship in time for Raymond van Barneveld.

Recommend: No bet.

And that’s your tips for Tuesday night’s darting action. Again, sorry for the timing of them, but hopefully this snow will clear up and allow to get some normality back to Darts Betting Tips.

But until then, enjoy the darts and happy betting!
