It won’t be much better for Wes Newton when he faces Robert Thornton. Simon Whitlock and Phil Taylor face off in what will be a spot of respite for the crowd, then normal service will be resumed with Michael van Gerwen and Raymond van Barneveld facing off. And then, Gary Anderson will be looking to capitalise on the crowd as he faces Dave Chisnall.
