Monday night’s darts action was the best session on darts on Sky Sports for quite some time. We had a great start with Stephen Bunting beating Peter Wright – the averages might not have been great, but it was quality action. Then we saw Mervyn King find his A-game and average over 100 in his defeat of Kim Huybrechts. Adrian Lewis got the first round’s only whitewash, as he destroyed Andrew Gilding. Then we finished off with another Winter Gardens classic with Gary Anderson seeing off Jamie Caven.
The second round of the World Matchplay starts tonight, and it’s another great night of action. Make sure you’re tuned into Sky Sports from 7pm so you don’t miss a thing.
