PDC UK Open 2013 Day Three Premium Picks.
What a great night of darts last night. Hopefully you enjoyed the action as much as I did last night, and you’re ready for a full day of action. We’re off to an early start with four boards and four matches on each. And then we get the evening session. Due to the bookies pricing matches up late, I won’t be putting picks up for the evening session, simply because they don’t give me enough time to hunt out the best bets, so I’m not confident of the quality.
Several big matches last night and they lived up to expectations. Phil Taylor was obviously the highlight of the night with his 9-0 win over Ronny Huybrechts. Michael van Gerwen beat Mervyn King yet again, this time 9-5 in a comfortable victory. The other big match of the night was Wes Newton against Simon Whitlock, and Newton continued his love affair with the Reebok eliminating his Australian opponent. Stephen Bunting is continuing to impress, and Steve West also got a huge win over Ian White, which was tipped up in the Premium Picks at 2/1. Another ex-BDO boy, John Henderson, is continuing his charge to glory, as are Stuart Kellett and Jelle Klaasen. There are also former World Championships in the field, with John Part, Richie Burnett and Raymond van Barneveld in the mix. So we’re down to the final 32, and by the end of today, we’ll be down to the last 8.
The Premium Picks went 6-5 last night, taking us to a profit of +10.71 units after two days of competition. So we’re continuing our winning run, thanks in no small part to Steve West, as mentioned earlier. Now, let’s get tonight’s Premium Picks out of the way.
