Well it’s official – May 2nd in Las Vegas, Floyd Mayweather Jr. will take on Manny Pacquiao.
I’m glad it’s finally happening – so I don’t have to hear about it anymore! I am seriously sick to death of hearing about it constantly. Of course – the next few months are going to be BRUTAL with all the talk about it.
It’s sad but my interest, and pretty much everyones interest here at the SportsBettingTips.org offices, in boxing has really waned over the past few years. A large part of that is the growth of UFC, but even moreso it’s just how boring boxing has become, and what a mess it is with all the divisions and titles etc.
Don’t get us wrong we’ll still order the fight – but yeah, we are just so tired of boxing these days.
Anyway onto bigger and better things – namely sports, for February 20th, 2015. It’s a rare night without a UFC event but don’t worry – UFC takes place tomorrow! We’ll have tips for that of course. But today let’s see what we have:
Scottish Football Betting Tips
They’ve had some excellent results, but we just can’t see Queen of the South beating Hearts. Despite the fact that they have the Scottish Championship practically wrapped up, Hearts are still dominating each and every game with 20 wins in 24 fixtures. Queen of the South are 4th and doing well, but Hearts away form is stellar. Take Hearts to beat QoS at 4/5 odds.
Another one is Dundee Utd to beat St. Johnstone. Utd are sitting in 4th place in the SPL, but they have the best home form so far this season – and that includes Celtic. They have a 9-1-1 record. St Johnstone meanwhile struggle to score on the road. Obviously, Dundee Utd lost a couple of key players in January but we still think they have what it takes to get the big win over St. Johnstone.
English Football Betting Tips:
We like the draw in Swansea vs Man Utd at 3/1 odds. Swansea are a pretty solid team at home, however they’re in the middle of a bit of a rough patch. Man Utd are Man Utd – you know how it is. The draw is a great price here and one we’d highly recommend betting.
In the English Championship, we’re getting a great price on 6th placed Ipswich who are hosting Reading. Ipswich have an excellent home record this season and Reading are stuttering in 19th. The price on that one is 21/20 which is a very nice price and one we’re all over.
We also like Bournemouth. They are a team who seem to excel away, and they’re going up against Brentford. Now Brentford are 7th and a good team but Bournemouth have a fantastic road record, and know how to win the games. They also know how to score away – that’s something most other teams don’t know how to do. This should be a good game with Bournemouth sneaking out as winners.
Finally in the English League Two, we’re taking top of the league Shrewsbury to beat Tranmere. Tranmere are right down there in relegation, and they’re going up against a solid Shrewsbury team who play some good, tight football.
