It’s a new month – and a great month because the NFL kicks off in just a couple of days.
We’ll have betting tips for Thursdays game – between the Green Bay Packers and the Seattle Seahawks – on Thursday morning for sure. Then we’ll have a nice busy weekend with the NFL, while the EPL etc is on international duty.
Right now we’re all busy with fantasy football. Man, that takes a lot of work eh? The worst thing is being in 5 separate leagues. Obviously some mean more due to higher entry fee and bragging rights – but still, it’s frustrating getting so many different players then you’re cheering on some, not on others. I just hope the Xbox One supports Yahoo Fantasy Football on Day One as I’m pretty pumped for that if so, and all my leagues are at Yahoo.
Big day today too in the EPL. It’s a pity you can’t really do much betting on the transfer deadline day. It’d be fun to have live betting whenever there’s a rumour – like Arsenal to sign Danny Welbeck? Well that is one early rumour today – would be nice to bet on if he will go, if he will go on loan, or if he will sign. Or hell go one step further – bet on the transfer fee, length of contract etc!
Man that would be fun.
Alright we’ve got a quiet day sports betting tips wise today with just one CFL Pick. Sorry guys – we’ll hopefully have many more picks coming up in the coming days though and we’re going to be doing more Champions Hockey League Betting Tips.
But first – how did we do yesterday? Well we went 2-1. We had two bets on the Arsenal game – Under 2.5 goals as well as a longshot bet of Draw-Arsenal so we broke even there.
It was a scary one to be fair – Arsenal went up early, Leicester scored and it was a draw at half time. So we were looking good there – if Arsenal scored a goal to put it Over 2.5 it’d also give us a much bigger win so we were cheering that. Unfortunately they didn’t and we expect to see one new striker at Arsenal post-haste.
We won our bet on the CFL, with the Blue Bombers +7. They kept it close against the Roughriders who win 35-30 in a great game in the West.
Alright, as we said one CFL Betting Tip today let’s get to it then we can all sit back and watch the EPL transfer deadline day, or watch the NFL Network and tinker with fantasy football line-ups:
Also there are two games today – Eskimos vs Stampeders is the other one but that is too tricky to call.
CFL Betting Tip: Toronto Argonauts vs Hamilton Tiger-Cats
Surprising point spread here of a pick-em. Tiger-Cats are missing Dan LeFevour which is bad.
Argonauts should pick up the win here and start to move up on the East. This would put them at 4-6 and really give them a chance of qualifying. Hamilton Tiger-Cats ARE playing in their new Tim Hortons Field – only reason I can think of for that point spread.
