Last week in the golf was a mixed bag with no wins unfortunately or cashes.
On the bright side I made 4 bets and all 4 of them made the cut. Alas none of them really contended for the Top 5 positions or for Kisner the Top 10 position so that was a bit disappointing.
In saying that to go from a 1st & 2nd the week prior to 4 players making the cut? Including a +12500 pick and a +20000 pick? Not too bad at all. Just a pity we couldn’t get one cash.
There are two tournaments this week that I will be covering. No SBT exclusive pick this week as it’s a tough week.
First up is The American Express and I have two picks to win & Top 5. So you would split your bet over those or do E/W if you have a sportsbook that supports each way betting.
The +3300 Russell Henley is my first pick. His putting isn’t great and that can be a concern but that doesn’t generally be a factor here. He also has a good record on Bermuda so that should help. 2u bet.
The other one is the +11000 John Huh. 1u bet. He just kept popping up for me when I would run the data.
In the Abu Dhabi I will be doing 1u on Tommy Fleetwood at +1400 to win and Top 5. Dude has good form here and I think he is wanting to make amends for a couple of struggles post lockdown.
Finally a 1u play on Scott Jamieson Top 10 at +1100. The value is nice enough you could even go for him to Top 20 honestly.
