Welcome to March!
It’s a big month for sports with the playoff races in the NBA and NHL heating up. We also have NCAA Basketball, with March Madness starting in the middle of the month. Very excited for that.
F1 also returns on March 15th, as they head to Australia.
If you’re a horse racing fan in the UK, then you know of course that the Cheltenham Festival is this month. That’s one thing on my bucket list: to attend Chelters one year.
In the MMA World it’s actually quite a quiet month with just one UFC PPV and one UFC Fight Night. Feels so wrong.
And of course – WWE Wrestlemania 31 at the end of the month.

For now, let’s focus on March 1st and get the betting tips out of the way for today:
EPL Betting Tips:
Two massive games, with Liverpool vs Man City and Arsenal vs Everton.
In the first one, we are going to tip Man City to win. 11/8 is a nice price. The fact is pound for pound they are a better team right now, and even though they have had a few struggles recently against the likes of Hull, this is a game City know they need to win to keep the pressure on. Liverpool have of course regained a lot of form as they push to et into Europe. But this is a massive game and one where City will win.
Look for a professional performance from Manchester City here.
In Arsenal vs Everton we are going to go with Over 2.5 goals. We think this is a very interesting matchup – Arsenal are coming off that big loss to Monaco, while Everton are coming off the great win over Young Boys Bern. Everton have struggled a lot lately. We think either team could take it, but either way it’s going to be a competitive game and both teams will nurse the European hangovers with a lot of goals.
English Championship Betting Tips:
We have a good game between Norwich and Ipswich, and we’re going to take Norwich for the big win. The Canaries are flying at the moment, and 5/6 is a nice price. They’re in the playoffs for promotion but they know that they need to keep pushing, and a win over Ipswich would be huge as it would put them above them. Ipswich meanwhile, struggle on the road. They have won just 6 games out of 16 – and while they have 6 draws, Norwich are the team that should really take this game.
SPL Betting Tips:
Celtic take on Aberdeen, and this is not going to be a good game for Aberdeen.
Celtic have been on lethal form, and the loss to Inter – you have to think they are going to bounce back in a big way here and stake their claim for the title.
We actually expect Celtic to falter after this game. This is a massive one with 3 points separating the teams but this is where Celtic should wrap it up – especially with a game in hand.
We’re going to go with the handicap on this one. Bet Celtic -1 at 7/5.
