This week, the LPGA has the CME Group Tour Championship.
This tournament became part of the LPGA tour in 2011, and has been held at 3 separate courses.
In 2011 Hee Young Park won it by 2 strokes, when it took place at the Grand Cypress Golf Club. 2012 saw Na Yeon Choi, a favourite here at GolfBettingTips.org, take down the tournament by 2 strokes.
Last year it took place at the Tiburon Golf Club, Gold Course. That’s the exact same venue as last year. The winner of that one was Shansang Feng, who beat the American Gerina Piller by one stroke.
The great thing about this course is it is a very tight course that anyone can win. Hell, last year Shanshan Feng won it despite shooting a 74 which is 2 over par on day 2. She managed to shoot -6, -6 and -5 on the other 3 days to get that win.
The favourite for this tournament is Inbee Park. Park came 5th here last year although couldn’t break -4. Park is coming off a solid 3rd place in the Lorena Ochoa Invitational, and of course previously she won the Fubon 2014.

CME Group Tour Championship Winner #1: Shanshan Feng
We like last years winner to repeat, and feel 10/1 to win outright is a good price. Those odds – you can argue whether or not to bet it E/W but we feel comfortable betting her to win.
Feng looked solid here last year and if not for the one bad day would have dominated heavily. She’s also been playing some solid golf. Last time out she went to a playoff with Christina Kim and is playing some great golf. In the Fubon 2014 she was 6th, and 7th the tournament before that.
Feng is in form, and even though she usually has an erratic day – this course is 4 days which suits her well. She can have her erratic day and still make amends for it on the other 3 days.
CME Group Tour Championship Winner #2: So Yeon Ryu
A tight one but at 12/1 it’s just enough for us to bet E/W as we feel we will get value on her finishing in the top 5.
9th last year and she has improved her golf game. She’s been solid this year and we feel she should be able to break the top 5 – just enough to give us value here.
