This week in the European Tour, it’s the UBS Hong Kong Open.
With the season drawing to a close it’s obviously a highly competitive field and important for quite a few of the golfers. A high result can be crucial at this stage.
The Hong Kong Open can be very, very tricky when it comes to betting. Add in the top two of Justin Rose and Dustin Johnson and it makes it even more tricky to bet on. Hell as an example last season out of the top 10 favourites only one of them actually got into the top 5.
It’s going to be an interesting tournament. We will check out the betting odds and then we’ll go for the betting tips:

Hong Kong Open Betting Tip #1: Miguel Angel Jimenez
It’s hard not to bet at least a half unit on Jimenez. Shorter odds would be a quarter unit but with those odds it’s an easy half unit bet.
Jimenez has dominated at this tournament with multiple wins. Hell he won 2012 and 2013. He did of course not make the cut last year but it happens. The fact is based on course form alone, a bet on Miguel Angel Jimenez is super easy to make. He hasn’t been playing the best golf lately which is a disappointment – but we just have to bet on him here.
That’s all we’ve got this time.
