It’s Tuesday, and welcome to the sports betting tips for March 24th, 2015.
Sorry about the lateness of the tips today. We had some other stuff we were doing to the website – like getting it all perfect for mobile devices – and we’re just now all caught up and ready to present the tips to you for today.
It’s a big week for sports. We have 2 MMA events this week, Bellator 135 and WSOF 19. We’ll hopefully have betting tips for them later in the week.
March Madness continues to go on of course.
We also have a big Sunday, with the F1 in Malaysia and WWE Wrestlemania 31. Betting tips for both of those will be coming shortly.
As if that wasn’t enough, along with the usual daily sports we also have a lot of golf. We were so close last week – we had Kevin Na in the PGA for a Top 5 finish and he came 6th, and Stacy Lewis to win the LPGA and she came 2nd.
This week we have the Valero Texas Open, Trophee Hassan II, LPGA Kia Classic and the Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic. Betting tips for them will be up first thing tomorrow morning.
Let’s see what we have tonight – as we’re running short of time we’re just going to focus on tonights NHL action:
NHL Betting Tips for March 24th:
New York Islanders vs Minnesota Wild: We see some nice value on the Minnesota Wild at 2.25 tonight. Personally we’d consider them the favourites – and with the home ice advantage of the Islanders we’d expect a 1.90 line here.
The two have played already this season, with the Wild winning that one. The Islanders have been in a bad run of form as of late, with games either going to overtime against much weaker teams, or straight out losses even at home where they lost to the Habs, Ottawa and Rangers all in a row. They got a good win over the Devils but guess what? They’re the Devils. Minnesota have had a lot of great results lately and even the ones they are losing it’s close and against much better teams such as the Ducks and the Capitals. It’s going to be a tight one but we like Dubnyk to lead the Wild to the big W this fine evening.

Red Wings vs Coyotes: We’ll be taking the Red Wings -1.5 here. Arizona are just utterly dreadful at the moment. They’re throwing away every game and looking very poor. Detroit meanwhile are a freaking powerhouse, and while they’re also having some slight struggles this is not one that they will want to lose. This is in fact the game where they get back rocking again with a big results such as how they handed Pittsburgh their ass. Now the Red Wings aren’t the best team when it comes to the handicap but against the weaker Coyotes, we feel it’s an easy bet at 1.83 odds.
