What a tournament the Open was!
From a golf perspective it was excellent, and from a betting perspective it was quite bloody nailbiting for awhile.
And then Jordan Spieth went into the zone.
I tipped Matt Kuchar to win and E/W last week for a full unit. I then actually placed double units on him.
For me personally that meant if Kuchar won, I’d make about $24,000 USD. Not a bad pay day.
Unfortunately it wasn’t to be. Just when it looked like Spieth was going to go on tilt and throw it all away, he went back out there and proved to the world just why he’s the #1 golfer in the world.
Sure in the World Golf Rankings DJ is currently #1 but man – there’s no-one who can perform like Spieth can. It was just incredible.

What’s disappointing is I live in Canada and if this came in I was going to head to Oakville and really treat myself for the Canadian Open. Instead I’ll just sit back and enjoy it on TV I guess.
