Mexico take on Brazil on July 2nd in an intriguing game in the knockout stages of the World Cup. The winner goes up against Belgium or Japan.
Mexico were almost eliminated from the World Cup – and that would have been a tragedy. They put in an excellent performance defeating Germany 1-0 then followed it up with a very solid 2-1 performance over South Korea. However it all came apart against Sweden who absolutely dominated them and won 3-0. If Germany had just scored 1 goal it would be the Germans going up against Brazil in an epic clash.
Brazil got here with two wins and a draw. They drew 1-1 with Switzerland, beat Costa Rica 2-0 thanks to two injury time goals and then had a much better performance beating Serbia 2-0.

Brazil Analysis:
Brazil are the biggest favourites to qualify for the next round. And that is interesting considering their performances in the first two group games where they showed flashes of brilliance but also lots of frustration.
When they play their best game they are in my opinion the best team in the World Cup by far but the problem is they cannot seem to always bring that.
What is interesting is eliminating the final two group games from your memory. What would the odds be then? Not too lopsided I am sure.
Mexico Analysis:
Boy how a teams stock falls fast.
Everyone was singing their praises after their win over Germany and then another great performance following that. One big thumping by the Swedes and Mexico might as well be packing their bags already.
We will expect to see them defend well and focus on the counter like they did against Germany. Of course the Brazil attack has some more lethal force and tricky plays than the Germans. Brazil you would hope will not take them lightly.
Brazil vs Mexico Betting Tips:
I love Brazil. Always have since a kid and it is amazing all these years later they still play that silky football. However they have not been at their best this World Cup. I do think they will go through however I have enough questions from their first two group games that I feel there is value on Mexico or Draw. I am backing that for just 1 unit though. I just feel the odds are very reactive of the final group games and not the first two group games. You can bet that at https://www.Bovada.lv.
