Forgot to say that Saturdays EPL results put is into profit for the month! So that’s good – hopefully in the last 11 days of August we can have a good little run and make it two profitable months in a row.
Was great seeing the other leagues kick off such as Serie A. What a horrible start for Inter. They were expected to push for the title this season and beaten by Sassuolo. Not good for them.
Disappointed to see Parma draw by losing that lead but great to see them in the top flight.
I’ll be tipping Serie A as the season goes on. Just wanted to sit back and enjoy the games this weekend.
Looked at the English leagues taking place on Tuesday but no fixture that really stood out for me so just going to stick with a few stats based picks this time out in the Brazil Serie B.
Brazil Serie B: Londrina vs Ponte Preta Betting Tips:
Ponte Preta currently sit 6th in the league after 21 games played. The top 4 teams get promoted and Ponte Preta are just 1 point out of that zone.
Londrina are struggling near the bottom and are 6th bottom in a mirror image of their opponents.
Ponte Preta should be higher but have struggled at home. Away however they are the best team in the league. They’ve got a tight defense, strong offense and good counter attacking game.
Londrina aren’t bad and I don’t see them going down. This should be competitive and Londrina are coming in off a solid win over Paysandu. That was an important one in the relegation battleb ut I just think Ponte Preta are too strong for them.
Their away form is great and they have beaten some good teams on the road. I feel there is value for a play here.

Goias to win: One of the most in form teams in the league at the moment going up against Sao Bento, who are yet to win on the road. The handicap isn’t worth a bet as Goias have a lot of tight wins and Sao Bento have tight losses but I think they should win it by 1.
Avai/Juventude Under 2.5 Goals: Two of the best defenses in the leagues. Avai do have a great offensive record but a lot of tight games recently. The way these two teams play a 0-0 draw or 1-1 draw looks good too but I’ll take the under.
