Welcome to the tips for Wednesday, September 12th.
Usually I have some stuff to say up here but I’m honestly drawing a blank ha. Not the biggest plate today in terms of games but dive into some stats based picks and also some MLS action.
Let’s get to it:
DC United vs Minnesota United Betting Tips:
DC United and Minnesota United are currently both hovering near the bottom of the MLS Table after 26 games played. DC United are on 31 games and Minnesota Utd are on 29.
Both teams have decent enough home records but it’s away where they are both poor. DC United have just 9 points in 16 games while Minnesota have just 4 in 13.
DC United will be hoping to get this next run off to a winning start as they play 7 games at home in a row. They’re struggling a fair bit due to international duties and injuries and only had 15 players they were able to field against NYCFC.
However they’re still battling hard and I love to see that.
Minnesota are well rested coming into this game and that’s a bit of a concern but all the rest in the world shouldn’t change just how woeful they have gotten especially on the road.
Honestly this is one of those bets where I liked it at first but the more I looked into it it got me concerned. So I’m just going to do a small bet on this one. I think DC United are really bonding well as a team at the moment.

GAIS vs IFK Varnamo Betting Tips:
This one is in the Swedish Superettan.
GAIS are very hot and cold at the moment. They also stutter a fair bit at home nad can’t be counted on. They’re going up against one of the most in form teams in the moment in Varnamo, who haven’t lost a game in 6 games.
In saying that Varnamo are still struggling near the bottom so they can’t fully be counted on and their away form isn’t great.
As the league goes on however we’re seeing that separation in the teams and GAIS are looking like they may belong in the bottom half more and more.
I think there is a good little chance that Varnamo cause an upset and I’m happy to back them although play it a tad safe.
