An incredible result for Rangers in the Europa League yesterday.
What a nervous time that was and what mental strength it took – to go from being one down after a minute to being one down within 30 seconds of tying the game.
Very proud of the team for that performance and we almost stole it at the end!
It’s the weekend and it’s always interesting post-Europe as some teams seem to show up with a European hangover. Makes things tricky. Liverpool last season for example struggled a fair bit dropping points to the likes of Newcastle, Burnley and Stoke.
If you want to read more about it, the Daily Mail did an article on European hangovers.
Bearing that in mind, let’s get to this weeks tips:
Man Utd vs Wolves Betting Tips:
I’m not putting too much weight in the European hangover but it’s a slight factor in this game.
I haven’t been uber impressed with Utd yet – if you’re reading you know that. They’ll come in with high spirits you’d think but they really are yet to fully convince me this season.
Wolves were able to pull off a result against Man City and have been able to score in every EPL game this season so we know they have the goalscoring ability. They’ve had some solid performances since the season opened and come into this on the back of a solid winning streak.
Of course a lot of bets about United revolve around De Gea. The man can turn a losing game into a draw or winning one simply by pulling off sensational saves when the defence let him down – which they often do. So we’ll proceed with caution.

Ipswich vs Bolton Betting Tips:
Bolton are 15th in the league while Ipswich are rooted at the bottom with 4 draws and 4 losses in 8 games.
I think Ipswich steal their first home win of the season here.
Sure Bolton have a solid away record with 2 wins and draw in 4 games this season but they’re on a poor run at the moment and Ipswich I think can build on that Brentford draw which was a big one. They will be looking to take advantage of two consecutive home matches and I think they have finally gelled enough to where they can get the win.
They’re better than the bottom zone and should be a mid-table team. There’s still a long adjustment period for them but I’m good with the price to back them.

WBA vs Milwall Betting Tips:
Hate to bet against Millwall but WBA are on an excellent run of form at the moment and represent nice value in my opinion. I feel it’s a great price and Millwall have been looking poor.
Barnes, Rodriguez and Gayle are unstoppable at the moment and are just three players who look like they are connecting very well.
I like WBA to take this one and think it’s a great price considering the offensive prowess of WBA against the defensive leaks of Millwall. Millwall also have issues internally with their manager raging at them during the week of lack of leadership. Sometimes that can spur a team up but I think it may hurt them.
