Well it was a good weekend with the SPL Tips but a bad weekend with the EPL Tips.
The SPL Tips saw us go 4-2 with our 2u plays and 1u plays winning, and the only losers were 0.5u plays.
The Rangers -1 result was a nervewracking one so I’m glad that came in however when I look at the metrics the differences between Rangers away and at home are nuts and so I’m not sure I can convincingly back them away going forward.
One of our losses was Motherwell vs St. Johnstone and that was a learning experience – I backed both teams to score due to both defenses being bad but in reality with weak offenses defense can win out there. Not worth it.
The EPL was a disaster sadly. We had Chelsea and they blew a lead against Man Utd and barely scraped the draw. Not sure what happened there as they were looking excellent and could have went in at the half 2-0 up at least.
Bournemouth were the better team but Southampton held them at bay.
As for Newcastle…..let’s not even talk about that one. What a disaster of a team.
Big congrats to DC United for qualifying for the MLS Playoffs. A big achievement inspired by Wayne Rooney and nice to see.

Young Boys vs Valencia Betting Tips:
Young Boys come into this one struggling after 3-0 defeats against Man Utd and Juventus. Valencia lost 2-0 to Juventus and drew 0-0 with Man Utd.
Valencia are a very very weird team this season. I mean just have a look at the La Liga. Valencia have played 9 games and drawn SEVEN of those with one win and a loss either side.
The way I see it, this game is a must win for either side and I rate Valencia that much more than Young Boys. I just think they have the quality. In saying that I could easily see them drawing but I think just enough of their ability to place a small bet on the Spanish side. Of course I had faith in Newcastle this weekend and look what happened there!

Ajax vs Benfica Betting Tips:
With Bayern Munich expected to roll over this group, Ajax will be ecstatic at picking up the draw against them. That’s a very important point.
Benfica and Ajax are theoretically playing for second place and I see this being a cautious game.
Benfica will be happy with the draw and then hope to get the win over Ajax at home. Ajax meanwhile with that unexpected point over Munich may not be as aggressive as expected.
I think this will be a close game and we’ll see it end in a stalemate.

And just for the hell of it, 0.25u on Viktoria Plzen or Draw. 10.00 odds, I think it’s worth it with the Spanish sides issues at the moment.
