Today we are going to cover some betting tips in the English Championship.
The English Championship is one of those leagues I really enjoy. I haven’t provided many betting tips on it this year for whatever reason but I watch it a lot.
Whenever I start a new game of Football Manager I usually always go a Championship team. Always so nice battling hard and then getting to the Premiership and having that extra money to spend etc. Always such a real gulf in regards to talent and tactics etc. And as someone who has had a soft spot for Blackburn since the SAS days they were very fun to go last year.
Lot of good games in the promotion race taking place with WBA vs Norwich and Sheffield United vs QPR.
Let’s get to it:
Millwall vs Blackburn Betting Tips:
These two teams are very evenly matched although Milwall are 6 points behind Blackburn in the league. Millwall are a good home team and have a little bit of form going on here which is nice to see.
They have won their last three league games with two tight 1-0 victories so it’s nice to see the defense kicking in. They’ve always been a bit better at home too defensively. Blackburn don’t have the best scoring record on the road and I can see Millwall stifling them.
Blackburn just struggle on the road and I think Millwall have what it takes here. Blackburn have Mulgrew possibly out after a hamstring injury and that will be tough. Millwall know that they need to stay clear of the relegation zone. Blackburn are still missing Smallwood and Davenport.

West Brom vs Norwich Betting Tips:
This should be a cracker of a game. Both teams battling for automatic promotion. West Brom have the 2nd best home record in the league and Norwich have the joint best away record.
You do always worry in games like this that both teams are going to be cautious and happy with the draw. However we’ve got two of the best offenses in the league and average defences.
This should be a very intensive game as I just can’t see either playing for the draw or being conservative. No-one wants to be in that playoff battle and so it’s a 6 point clash for both teams.
Have to hope for a nice high scoring game here.
