It was an excellent 3-0 night in the NHL betting tips for us.
We had the Canadiens to beat the Senators. It was a tight 2-2 one that went to overtime, but the Habs came out winners. And how fitting was it that P.K. Subban scored a goal? Couldn’t make it up.
We took the Canucks over the Flames, and they did that with absolute ease. A great win for the Canucks, who showed why they are the favourites.
We also had the Washington Capitals to win and that was a scary one. Islanders were up 3-1 at one point. But the Capitals perservered, Ovechkin stepped up and that was all she wrote.
Reminder that as posted yesterday – we have two betting tips for UFC on Fox 15. We have Felice Herrig +105 over Page Van Zant – although we felt bad seeing Van Zants beautiful bikini yesterday! And we also have Machida at +140 which is a hell of a price for the talented Brazilian.

Now onto the betting tips for April 18th, 2015:
NHL Betting Tips:
It’s the 2nd round of “Game 2s” today. It starts off early at 3pm EST with the Red Wings vs the Lightning.
First up, we’re going to take Lightning -1.5. Red Wings were insanely lucky against the Tampa Bay Lightning considering that boxscore. if Detroit can do it again? More power to ’em. Just can’t see it though.
We’re also looking at the Penguins vs Rangers game, and it’s hard to bet anything but Rangers in regulation. Look – the Penguins are yet to show they belong in the playoffs. They barely got here. Even their best period against the Rangers – the 2nd – they didn’t look that great. Even if Penguins play their A game for 3 periods, I don’t know if that’s enough to beat the Rangers.
Final tip of the night is the Ducks to win. They took Game 1, and they are just so damn good especially on that power play that it’s hard to bet against them at this stage.
NBA Betting Tips:
The NBA Playoffs begin today. Wizards vs Raptors, Pelicans vs Warriors, Bucks vs Bulls and Mavericks vs Rockets.
We’re going to take Over 193.5 points in the Wizards vs Raptors game. This should be a big, evenly contested game between the teams. They’ve had a lot of tight games when they’ve played including some overtimes, and we expect a similar event here. Both teams pushing hard and it’s going to go all the way to the wire we expect – which will gain us the extra points needed to go Over. Pierce getting the Raptors all riled up will add to that.
Also have to take Bulls -7.5. This is a team that’s fresh; their starters are all healthy, Rose is back, Gasol is there, and they’re ready to go. This is where expectations are at a high, and they’re going to step out and absolutely dominate this game. Congrats to the Bucks for getting in there – but if you look at some of the media stuff they’re already admitting they are done. They’re just happy to be here. Bulls are going to step up and do the business tonight.
