Saturday, June 29th will see the final two games in the quarter finals of the FIFA Women’s World Cup take place, as Italy take on the Netherlands and Germany take on Sweden.
We then take a break from the Women’s World Cup for a couple of days before the semi finals on Tuesday, July 3rd and Wednesday, July 4th.
It’s a similar situation with the Copa America, with Uruguay vs Peru taking place in the final quarter final game and then a break until Tuesday, when the semi finals take place.
I’ll probably do individual betting tips for each of the semi final games and I’ll start posting them from Saturday or Sunday onwards.
I’m back from my trip to Scotland right now but we’re off to the cottage then I have to head back there most likely so everything is a bit of a mess at the moment. Hopefully there’ll be no misses days.
Italy vs Holland Betting Tips:
Italy have been the dark horse of the tournament for a lot of people. Interestingly the media seemed to wake up after their win over China yet here they are again as big underdogs.
Look if you’ve been following my Women’s World Cup tips then it feels like I’m a broken record when talking about these two teams. Italy are a quality team who we have made a lot of money from this tournament.
The Netherlands meanwhile are a team who quite simply have a lot of defensive issues.
We saw it against Japan. As soon as Japan started attacking them, they were in trouble. Time and time again the Japanese were able to get through and create a whole host of chances.
As long as Italy keep up what they are doing and attack Holland, I really fancy their chances here.

Germany vs Sweden Betting Tips:
The Germans are 1.65 favourites here.
Sweden beat Canada but I mean Canada have looked bad – I’ve said that all along.
Germany are one of those weird teams where if you just look at the results, they are great. However when you dive into the xG and the stats and the metrics and all that or hell even just watch the games – you know there’s another side to the story.
However I’m not sure Sweden are the team to test Germany. USA beat them quite easily considering they were trying out two strikers in that game who were a disaster.
Small bet on the Germans more for entertaiment than anything else.

Uruguay vs Peru Betting Tips:
No surprise Uruguay are pretty decent favourites here at 1.61 odds.
Peru qualified in third place. Thumped 5-0 by Brazil, drew with Venezuela and beat Bolivia.
Uruguay got off to a 4-0 start in their group, drew 2-2 with Japan then beat Chile 1-0.
I’m not super convinced by Uruguay here. They’re always an off-putting team. However it does feel like it’d be a ridiculous if they don’t take it easy enough here.
