Like I said yesterday – I’m going to start looking at this weekends games early on, and the beginning of the English Premier League season in particular.
I’m really looking forward to the EPL season this year, especially with all of the games being able on DAZN. Prior to that, it’s been difficult to watch every game – but now with Dazn on the go, I’ll be able to do that.
I’ll be able to have multiple games going at once and be able to really study everything. so I’m really looking forward to making a lot of money off the EPL this season.
Of course it’s a bit tough to get going this early in the season without having seen the teams play. Especially with managerial changes, transfers etc. In saying that, I’ve been pouring over all of those season previews that websites put out etc and feel sufficiently prepared.
Generally the first week you want to look for value or where a team is overpriced or underestimated etc. I’ve had a quick glance at the closer odds games and so here is one tip for the weekend so far. I’ll hopefully have more as time goes on.
Bournemouth vs Sheff Utd Betting Tips:
Bournemouth were a fun team last year. They were often underestimated and I was able to back them for a couple of nice wins. Like at 2.35 odds to beat West Ham, 1.90 to beat Brighton etc. Funnily enough I was able to pick some good spots to bet against them too like a 3u play on Wolves to beat them back on December 15th. Just one of those teams I seemed to get in a good rhythm with.
They ended up at 14th so will theoretically be undervalued again this year. If they could get a bit more consistent this year they should make the Top 10. If Callum Wilson stays healthy he could be huge for them this year.
Will be interesting how Lloyd Kelly fits into the team.
I read a good quote in the Guardian that I agree with “When Bournemouth are firing on all cylinders, they are a match for anyone”. They really are. They go up against Sheffield United who are back in the EPL after finishing 2nd in the Championship.
Sheff Utd just seem like they have the sort of squad that is too good for the Championship, but not good enough for the Premiership. They’ve picked up some solid players and an interesting one is Lys Mousset. Seems a right risky one that.
They’re generally an attacking team but I mean that was in the Championship. You can play two strikers there but not really in the EPL. Have to wonder if they try and adopt a more defensive style for this first game too which could mess with them.
I think it’s going to be a long season for Sheffield United fans, and it starts here.
