It was a 1-2 day with yesterdays Euro 2020 qualifiers.
Had a nice 2.75 win in the Azerbaijan vs Croatia game backing Both Teams to Score. That was one of those where I wanted to bet more but the odds were so high I felt I must have been missing something. Did feel confident Azerbaijan would get at least one goal though and was nice to see.
Lost with Hungary vs Slovakia where I backed Hungary. They lost 2-1 there.
Also lost with the 0.5u play on BTTS in Scotland vs Belgium. Scotland did attack well and play more positive which is what I expected. They looked good up until the first Belgium goal. Their counter is excellent. Scotland just don’t have the finishers unfortunately.
That’s the end of the Euro 2020 Qualifiers for a few weeks.
We’ve got four MLS games taking place on Wednesday, September 11th as they get closer to wrapping up. Let’s look at those and see what I can find:
New York City vs Toronto FC Betting Tips:
NYC FC are now in first place in the Eastern Conference with a game in hand over Philadelphia, and will be looking to extend that lead as they host Toronto FC.
NYC FC have been on a five game run with some solid victories. Some close ones. They needed a 96th minute penalty from Jesus Medina to defeat the 10 man Revolution on the weekend. However I think that will spur them on in this game.
They’re one of the best offensive teams and Heber Araujo dos Santos has been on fire. As a Scot, it was nice to see Gary Mackay-Steven get on the scoreboard the other week.
Toronto are hanging in there in the playoff race and doing what they can. It’s still tight but they got that key win over Montreal Impact.
This is one of those games where I went in really liking one play, but looking at the data not as much. It hasn’t thrown me off it but I will lessen my planned bet size.

Houston Dynamo vs Minnesota United Betting Tips:
Houston look like they have given up for the year with no chance of making the playoffs. They haven’t won in 7 games now and I think we are seeing the fight drop out from them.
Minnesota are still battling for a playoff space. While they are in third place, only 4 points currently separate them from the 8th placed LA Galaxy.
Minnesota also had that big win over LAFC. The concern there is you worry they may approach this one with overconfidence. However they’ve got to realize what an important game this is. Mason Toye continues to absolutely kill it and I’d be shocked if he didn’t get on the scoreboard.
