Well I dived into La Liga yesterday so I might as well dabble in it again today.
Looking at Wednesday, September 30th we’ve got four games on the board.
At first glance it’s not the most appealing schedule of games of course with three heavy favourites in Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid and Villarreal.
Then you throw in the lack of data and meh.
Still it’s nice to get focused on the early games. You never know sometimes you can find some real value.
Let’s see what there is:
La Liga Bets: Sep 30, 2020
Huesca vs Atletico Madrid:
In the league Huesca have played three games and are yet to win. Atletico Madrid just have that 6-1 win over Granada.
Big news for Atletico Madrid this week of course with the signing of Luis Suarez and they will be thinking they can actually challenge the big two this season.
Surely Suarez starts. I hope so anyway although it depends on fitness. Either way it’s going to be a lift for the club and they will want to flex their muscle. Much like I backed Spurs with Bale looking to come back that last week, I’m good for 2u on Atletico Madrid -1.5 at 2.40 odds here.
Villarreal vs CD Alaves:
Alaves have just one point to start the season. Villarreal got off to a good wee start before losing to Barca.
I like Villarreal to bounce back from the alas the bookies think so too with them just 1.57 odds.
Villarreal have Atletico up next so that makes this one even more important. I’m going to throw them into a double that I’ll get into next.
Real Madrid vs Valladolid:
We’ll do Villarreal and Real Madrid in a 3u double for 1.92 odds. This is no pushover bet by any means – Madrid have struggled to start the season and Valladolid have looked a bit sturdy at times. However I liked the character Real Madrid showed in the Betis game even though they were a bit fortunate to get the win. But when you look at Real Madrids post lockdown form you gotta take them here.
Eibar vs Elche:
Neither team has won yet this season. Elche just played the once and got thumped by Sociedad and Elbar have one point from Celta Vigo then two 2-1 losses.
This is a real tight game and the question is whether Elche are struggling with fitness levels at the moment or not. They didn’t look good in that last game.
I’m super tempted by the draw but we’ll back the fitness levels and go with 0.5u on Eibar to win at 1.75 odds.
