We’ve got a heck of a busy Sunday in the EPL with 6 games on the go.
We’ve also got a bunch of Serie A games and La Liga action. In the SPL we’ve got Celtic and Rangers in separate matches and a lot more football on the go.
Man – when did Sundays become so much better for Saturdays?
Going to be a hell of a fun day with the soccer on the go, NFL and then Lakers vs Heat at night as well. Man do I love sports. I’m also big into golf bets and with bets on 4 separate tournaments coming to a head on Sunday – going to be a hell of a day.
Let’s get going with the EPL Bets for Sunday, October 4th:

Leicester vs West Ham:
Leicester are 1.66 favourites here. They have won all three of their games so far including that big win over Man City. West Ham lost their first two but bounced back with a big 4-0 win over Wolves.
West Ham have some real defensive issues and that clean sheet against Wolves was a surprise. They’ve actually played really well the last two games. I’ve got to think Leicester keep their form going though and Rodgers can keep them motivated. More importantly I think this is a good value play I’d put Leicester at 1.50. Try not to bet this low but I see value in this line. 1u on Leicester to win at 1.66 odds.
Southampton vs West Brom:
Southampton got their first win of the season over Burnley. WBA got their first point in that 3-3 game with Chelsea.
Southampton are probably the better team but I have been a bit concerned with them so far this year. Hasenhuttl seems to be struggling a bit. I don’t have the confidence in them just yet and think this will be a tight one. Going to go with 0.5u on the draw at 3.80 odds.
Arsenal vs Sheff Utd:
Arsenal got off to a good start then lost to Liverpool. They will be looking to bounce back against Sheff Utd who aren’t just seeking their first point – they’re also seeking their first freaking goal. That’s not good.
I like Arsenal to bounce back here especially with such a brutal schedule here. They know this is a key game. Sheff Utd are having a rough patch at the moment but are solid. They did get Rhian Brewster in although he won’t be able to play here. I’m going to chuck them in a small double with Liverpool.
Aston Villa vs Liverpool:
If we do the double it’s 2.14 odds. Love what Villa have been doing. Liverpool are not a “banker” or anything like that by any means. Do not underrestimate Aston Villa. They could be a surprise. Despite that I am good with a 0.5u play on the double. Props to Villa if they can upset the apple cart here. Despite the bet I’ll be rooting for them. It wouldn’t surprise me if they can pull up the draw here.
Wolves vs Fulham:
Small play on Fulham or Draw. Wolves have torn up their tactics and are mixing it up and it’s not working out for them yet.
Fulham have some serious defensive issues and I do think Wolves will get it going here. However their inability to figure out their tactics right now – I’m fine with a little bet against them. 0.5u on Fulham or Draw at 2.50.
No bet in Man Utd vs Spurs.
