What an absolutely incredible weekend of football.
The two most notable results of course were in the English Premier League. Man Utd lost 6-1 to Tottenham and Aston Villa thumped Liverpool 7-2.
Just an insane weekend.
This week we have the UEFA Nations League matches taking place which all starts on Saturday, the 10th.
I’ll be sure to try and cover them each day. Last time out I only did 4 tips but went 3-1 so would be nice to keep it going. I wasn’t too interested in it at the beginning but that got me hooked.
This week we might just be doing stats-based tips for the most part. Let’s see what we got:

This is for the games that take place on Tuesday, October 6th. They click off at about 4pm and 6pm EST for those wondering. I’ve looked through the stats and metrics for all the games and this is what I like:
We’ve got about 11-13 games of data for these matches which is nice.
1u on Chapecoense to win at 1.90 odds. Botafogo have turned things around the last couple of weeks with wins over Parana and Oeste. Parana are 4th so that was impressive. However they still struggle away.
Chapecoense on the other hand are on a great run and their lone loss was to Cuiaba who are top of the league and might as well be promoted right now. I’m happy with Chapecoense continuing their exceptional run.
0.5u on Juventude vs Cuiaba to be a draw. Cuiaba have an almost perfect record other than that loss to Vitoria. They’re a tough team to beat and have a great defense. 3rd best defense in the league. They will have to be at their best to stop Juventude, who are the top goalscorers in the league.
I like these two to cancel each other out and am taking the draw.
