It was a 1-2 night on Wednesday however a 1u profit due to the odds.
Went with Ajax to win. They actually looked the better team. More possession, more shots etc. Alas they just couldn’t score then they lost a man to a red card and Atalanta took advantage and got the win.
Small risk on Liverpool who drew 1-1 after a penalty. Both teams had a goal disallowed due to VAR.
Won with Draw or Shakhtar as it was a 0-0 one. Inter had 20 goal attempts but just couldn’t score which was nice although a tad nerve wracking.
Let’s look at the EPL Games on Saturday.
EPL Bets: Dec 12, 2020
Wolves vs Aston Villa:
Both teams come into this around the mid-table with Wolves in 10th and Villa on 12th. However Villa have 2 games in hand over Wolves. They are struggling at the moment with losses to West ham and Brighton. Wolves have been generally solid and only losing to the bigger teams lately. They even beat Arsenal.
Bookies see Leeds as decent favourites at 2.15. Villa however have 3 away wins in 4 games which is impressive. Wolves will be missing Raul Jimenez which is very though and I think they will stifle them defensively. I think both these teams cancel each other out and both will be happy with a draw. 1u on the Draw at 3.25.
Newcastle vs West Brom:
West Brom are 2nd bottom with Newcastle in 13th. Newcastle have been a bit erratic. WBA just look bad though. Newcastle if they win will get back to back wins for first time this year. They had issues with COVID this month but all seems good.
The COVID situation is just too much of a mess for me here. You don’t know how many Newcastle players were affected etc. No bet.
Man Utd vs Man City:
Always a big game. City pretty strong favourites at 1.72 even though they have been poor this year really. Man Utd have been piss poor at Old Trafford funnily enough with a 1-1-3 record.
I like the two results City have strung together in the league beating Fulham and Burnley. Despite league positions etc I do agree City feel like they should have an edge here. I’m going to do 0.5u on City to win at 1.72.
Everton vs Chelsea:
Everton are struggling big time right now. Chelsea are crushing it. 3rd place and looking good. It’s nice to see for a relatively new manager.
Chelsea can also temporarily go top and I think that will motivate them.Everton have just lost their mojo right now. Giroud playing so good too right now.
