Hi everyone,
It was a nice winning day on Wednesday in the EPL.
We had a win with Burnley or Draw against Aston Villa. Burnley won outright 3-2 with a superb comeback from being 2-1 down. While they won outright I am glad I backed Burnley or Draw as Villa looked good enough and it took the pressure off.
A big win with the draw at 3.30 odds in Brighton vs Fulham which was brilliant.
Everton beating Leicester was a loss as they drew 1-1 but only a 0.5u play. Draw was probably the fair result there.
Let’s look at Saturdays EPL – four games on the go:
EPL Betting Tips: January 30, 2021
Everton vs Newcastle:
Pretty easy one to cover. It’s unbettable IMO. Everton should win based on everything but based on recent results it might be risky taking them on the handicap. Winning with a clean sheet is tempting but 2.50 isn’t worth it. In saying that we can throw them in a double with….
Man City vs Sheff Utd:
Man City to win. 1u, 1.80 odds. Seems like value. Top vs bottom in Man City game. If an upset happens, it happens. Everton did lose to Newcastle in November so that’s an issue but Newcastle are struggling hard right now. Everton do have a few injuries but they seem professional enough to be able to take this one.
Crystal Palace vs Wolves:
Both teams tied for 13th place. Both teams struggling hard with 6pts in their last 8. Palace were a bit more spirited against West Ham. Odds are fairly even with Wolves slight favourites.
Palace at home isn’t a big advantage. I think the draw has value although odds are one of them pips it. 0.5u on the draw at 3.20.
West Brom vs Fulham:
Can draw specialists Fulham add another tie to their list? Both teams battling for relegation here. I’m good with backing another draw here. Fulham drew with Sheff Utd and could see similar. 0.5u on the draw at 3.20.
Arsenal vs Man Utd:
Can Man Utd bounce back after that Sheff Utd loss? They’re the better side but goddamn Arsenal are on a nice little run at the moment. Of course not the toughest opposition. Honestly I feel like it’s an opportunity to take advantage of a reactive price. Bookies have Man Utd at 2.50 odds and that feels too high. I think that is reactive to them losing. 1u at 2.50 odds on Man U to win.
Southampton vs Aston Villa:
No bet on this one. I lean Villa but no real confidence in either team. I think Villa have had a tough slate lately though and this could be a good game to get them rolling into the top- 10 again though. It’s actually real tempting to bet Villa but the odds just aren’t there.
