Some fun action in the EPL this weekend. We went 1-1.
I really wanted to back Draw or Leicester but just couldn’t at those odds. What a pity as that was an amazing comeback and so fun to watch.
Palace without Zaha got absolutely destroyed. Their stats on losses with him out are nuts and I wish I had backed against them but couldn’t bring myself to do it.
City -1.5 came through with ease. The losing bet was Villa to win and holy crap they were lucky to even get a point. Brighton were all over them there.
Let’s look ahead at Tuesdays Champions League games.
Barcelona vs PSG:
Barcelona won all games in their group with ease except that loss to Juve at the end. PSG had a bit of a stuttering start but got going eventually.
Domestically both teams are doing well although PSG do have that loss on Lorient at the end of January as a blemish on their record.
Barcelona are favourites at 2.00 odds. PSG will be without Neymar of course. Barcelona will be missing Sergi Roberto but Dest is back.
I think it’s the key missing players that will be the difference maker here. With Di Maria and Neymar both out. I’m good to take Barca here. They just look like they are firing on all cylinders as well right now. Tactically just looking so solid etc.

RB Leipzig vs Liverpool:
Due to COVID this is at a neutral venue so no home advantage.,
Leipzig had a couple of damn good results in the qualifiers beating PSG and Man Utd.
Domestically they’re not doing too bad right now. Some solid results. Liverpool are struggling hard.
Liverpool do seem like that sort of team that will cock it up domestically but on the European field will do the business. We’ve seen that many times before with teams and I get that vibe this year.
Leipzig or Draw is unfortunately out at 1.57 odds. I’ve flip flopped here between the draw and a Leipzig win and can’t pull the trigger. No bet on this one.
