Well that was a couple of fun days of Champions League football.
Barcelona went up 1-0 before being blown away 4-1 by PSG in quite the upset. Liverpool meanwhile threw their domestic form to the side for a solid 2-0 win over RB Leipzig.
Wednesday we saw Porto pull off the upset with a win over Juventus. Dortmund fought hard and were able to get a big win over Sevilla, also throwing their domestic form to the side.
I am not backing any Europa League stuff right now. Just too many games, too much to look at etc.
There’s a wide selection of games on Friday however – 1 or 2 in all the main leagues. Thought I would glance through them and pick out a couple to provide betting tips for.
Wolves vs Leeds Betting Tips:
It’s all about perceived value here on the more in form team.
Leeds are inconsistent. Wolves have been poor this season of course but are coming in with three solid performances – wins over Southampton, Arsenal and a draw with Leicester.
I’m not writing off Leeds in any way here. It’s a very close game and could go either way. However I like to back a team with momentum and that seems to be what Wolves have going right now. Leeds are missing a few key players as well.

Cagliari vs Torino Betting Tips:
Two teams seriously struggling and battling against relegation. This is a crucial battle between them.
Torino haven’t won in their last 7 games in Serie A but they have only lost once during that time with the rest being draws.
Cagliari – man – 15 games without a win. Di Francesco just can’t seem to figure out what is going to work for them although will be interesting to see if they play Asamoah from teh start here. Torino will be missing Sanabria of course due to our old friend COVID.
I think Torino can pull off a rare win here.
