Some fun games in the Europa League yesterday although nothing as explosive as the previous round. Lot of interesting games and second legs. Man Utd vs Milan will be something. Rangers vs Slavia Prague should be the game of the tournament I think.
Rangers started out slow but we were clearly hanging on to a post title win hangover. The second half performance was a lot better.
If you haven’t seen it be sure to check out the ridiculous save McGregor pulled off at the death. One of the best saves. What a goalkeeper man.
Let’s look at the EPL games this weekend:
Leeds vs Chelsea:
Leeds come into this rather inconsistent. Even at home they have a 5-2-6 record. They’re having real troubles scoring right now with 3 games where they got grannied in their last 4 games.
Chelsea come in on a great run with an incredible defensvie record. So many clean sheets lately against the likes of Everton, Liverpool, Man Utd and Spurs.
Interestingly they concede goals against the lesser teams at teams like Southampton and Sheff Utd.
I’d like to bet Chelsea to win to nil but I’m going to do 2u on Chelsea to win at 1.73 odds instead.
Crystal Palace vs West Brom:
West Brom are battling against relegation and if they want to survive they need to get a win here. A lot of draws lately but their away form is overall dire with 8 losses in 13 games.
Palace look to have Zaha back and even though they are missing a whole host of players, I think that will be enough to get them going. 1u on Palace to win at 2.23 odds.
Everton vs Burnley:
Everton come into this one hoping to keep the pressure on at the top as they battle for a Champions League spot. Burnley look to steer themselves away from the relegation spots.
Burnley have had a lot of draws lately while Everton after a nice 3 game run of wins crashed at Chelsea 2-0.
Everton have actually had a really brutal run at home lately. I still like them but I am tentative.
