Euro 2020 / 2021 Group D Betting Tips & Predictions

Group D in Euro 2020 / 2021 is the most stressful group for me obviously being Scottish – I thought I’d be happy that Scotland have qualified but holy crap weeks out I am just nervous as all hell over this one.

It’s made worse by the fact that England are in there.

England are of course the favourites to win the group, with Croatia an easy 2nd. Then it’s Czech Republic and Scotland.

Let’s look at the “To Win Group” odds:

England: 1.40
Croatia: 4.00
Czech Republic: 13.00
Scotland: 17.00

Euro 2020 / 2021 Group D Betting Tips / Predictions:

I mean England are just awesome. Croatia might cause them a few problems but they should be able to take this group. Had to see by them.

Croatia are the 2nd favourites. They qualified via Group E by winning it but it wasn’t the toughest group. They’ve generally struggled. I almost feel like they are overrated by the sportsbooks.

Czech Republic of course got that big win over England in qualifying. They haven’t been too bad in the World Cup Qualifiers with that draw against Belgium. It’ll be tight but I actually think the Czechs might steal 2nd in this group.

Then there is Scotland. Sigh. I’m still raging we didn’t pick Ryan Gauld honestly. We scraped through via the qualifiers but there really isn’t much that I feel good about honestly.

I hate to say it but I am advising bet Scotland not to qualify. I just don’t think we have what it takes.
