Alrighty apologies for no write-up yesterday.
Tuesday was a 1-2 for a slight losing day. We had the winner of Sweden or Draw for 3.25 odds which was a nice one.
The Scotland result sucked of course but on the bright side, my futures bets of Scotland Not To Qualify and Patrick Schick to be Top Scorer for Czechs both look good.
Did I mention that Bet365 gave me a refund for my Eriksen to be Top Team Goalscorer bet? Thought that was cool of them.
Didn’t have anything in the Portugal game yesterday. I personally did a live bet at 3.20 odds on Portugal to win after the Hungary goal was chopped off. I had a feeling that would wake them up and they were able able to do so.
I bet many of you ended up profiting off that one due to late goals. I know quite a few people who bet Portugal -1, over 2.5 etc.
I had the one play yesterday on France to win and they were able to do so. They look superb and dangerous.
Let’s get to tomorrows three games as we get to cover teams we’ve already seen play:
Finland vs Russia Betting Tips:
Russia got absolutely thumped by Belgium 3-0 in their opener. They will be out for blood here against Finland, who of course defeted Denmark in rather unique circumstances.
It’s obvious how this game is going to go; Russia are going to dominate it. Finland are going to be defensive as all hell, and pray for the draw.
In qualifiers in these spots, Russia were generally able to do the job and punish the teams. Post-qualifiers their offense hasn’t been great for it.
I don’t think Finland can hold out the entire game. I’m going to go with 2u on Russia to win. The odds just make it enough for that but the -1 odds are tempting too.

Turkey vs Wales Betting Tips:
This will be an interesting one.
Wales got a big point against the Swiss. With Italy as the last game, if they want to qualify they really need to win this game.
Turkey got thumped by Italy. It was expected. They’re going to come out and push hard here to get that win to take them into the Swiss game.
At the odds, I’m happy to go with goals in this game. I think it’s a good price when you really have two teams who – if they need to qualify – both need to attack.

Italy vs Switzerland Betting Tips:
Italy thumped Turkey 3-0 and looked good doing so.
Switzerland were an interesting one. My own thoughts were they were the better team, deserved to win, but made a big tactical error. They took off Shaqiri way too early in that game as they tried to sit back and defend.
They couldn’t do that against Wales – I don’t expect they will do it against Italy. Dropping 2 points against Wales was not good either so they will open up more which should hopefully result in goals. They don’t want to go up against Turkey needing a win.
