Hi guys,
It was a good 4-2 weekend last week with the SPL. Both 2u plays came in with Rangers covering the -2.5 spread thanks to a 90 minute goal by Kemar Roove, and an 89th minute goal by John Soutar to win the game for Hearts and put that one over.
We also had a 70th minute penalty win us the Hibs game. So I can’t complain too much about Ali McCann missing a penalty for St. Johnstone in their game which would have won us the bet.
EPL is back next week and things will get nice and busier going forward. For now let’s cover the SPL games taking place this weekend with just two games on Saturday and four on Sunday. I’m actually going to just cover the two Saturday games here and do a new post tomorrow for Sundays.
Dundee Utd vs Rangers:
Rangers coming in off that midweek disaster. Thank F for that late goal man to hopefully keep us in it.
Dundee Utd didn’t look too great against Aberdeen.
Based on the bookies odds, the expected result is Rangers to win with a clean sheet. No surprise there.
However with this game being at Tannadice and the fans behind them, I think that will drive the Dundee Utd players on. We’ll see a much better performance from them and they will be competitive.
I am going to go with 1u on Both Teams to Score at 2.25 odds. I think that is the best play here. Will be interesting seeing how Rangers are as they looked quite rusty in midweek. Hope for a better performance here and both teams up for it.
St. Mirren vs Hearts:
St. Mirren had that banger of a game against Dundee last week. I correctly called that one going over when the bookies expected a quiet game.
at home I think we see more from them here as well. Hearts meanwhile look nice and lively.
The one issue to me is man – Craig Gordon looks great. He was exceptional last week and he’s one of those goalkeepers where it’s a bit hard to bet the goals market knowing what he is capable of.
1u on Over 1.5 goals for Hearts at 2.50 odds.
Back tomorrow with the remaining 4 betting tips.
