It’s Wednesday, and here at the SportsBettingTips.org offices that means just one thing: golf.
There’s no European Tour this week, and we’re focused on the LPGA Tour, the Champions Tour and the WGC Match Play Championship.
We hope you followed our big tip last week, of Lydia Ko to win the Swinging Skirts Championship. She did so, as our great run with the LPGA continues. We had previously won a 66/1 on Cristie Kerr. Here’s the betting slip for Lydia Ko:
BOOM!
Let’s see what we have for you for this week:
WGC Match Play Championship Betting Tips:
This is a tricky one to handicap, so what we are going to do is look through all of the groups and pick who we think will win certain groups.
Group 2: How do you NOT go with Jordan Spieth here? Tremendous odds on the most on form golfer in the world at the moment. Easy, easy bet on Spieth.
Group 3: A tight group – sort of. You can probably take out Brendon Todd or John Senden. It’s between Bill Haas and Henrik Stenson, and we’d go with Stenson barely. 5/4 odds make it some nice value as well there considering we’d bet him on the flip side of that.
Group 5: Hard not to go with Martin Kaymer here. The guy is a great price, is someone who always steps it up in the big tournaments and to top it all off, is a top notch match player.
Group 8: This is a very tough group with the likes of Dubuisson and Schwartzel in here. But Johnson has been the ultimate golfer since his cough cough “break”. He should take this down.
Group 14: Really a two horse group between Kuchar and Mahan. Mahan hasn’t been impressive lately though and we feel comfortable taking Kuchar here.
North Texas LPGA Shootout Betting Tips:
Unfortunately there are no huge underdogs we’re seeing this week. We’re going for a much more boring 2nd favourite to win the tournament.
That 2nd favourite is Stacy Lewis, and she’s the one we are going with. Ko has never played this course, and honestly after what she accomplished last week we think this will be too gruelling for her. We think Lewis, who won here a year ago – has the skill and ability to do it again.
Lewis has also been on good form all season, and this is a course that she is comfortable with. She has the ability and the history to do the business here,
Insperity Invitational 2015 Betting Tips
First up it’s our man Bernhard Langer. Should have won us money at the Greater Gwinnett Championship – probably would have if mother nature hadn’t caused the tournament to end early.
Langer won this tournament and has shown he can dominate here. We’ll take him as the favourite as it’s hard to justify any others here.
However we also want to bet on Esteban Toledo. Based on his history at this course how can you not? He was the winner in 2013, and also was in the top 5 last year. Toledo is also on form at the moment and had a nice top 5 place in the ACE Group Classic.
We’ll go with Toledo E/W.
