It was an excellent week in the golf last time out with a double bet profit on Seamus Power.
We backed him to both finish in the Top 20, and E/W. Power delivered, coming in third place, 4 strokes off the lead.
This resulted in two cashes:
For a decent $450 profit for the week. This also makes two profitable weeks in a row. Let’s hope this season continues like this.
We were close with Leishman on the Top 20 finish and my two long shot bets of McNealy and Bezuidenhout didn’t do too shabby. If I had went with Top 20 bets on them there would have been a profit. Maybe I should look into splitting those going forward like I did with Power.
Webb was the only disappointment.
Farmers Insurance Open 2022 Betting Tips:
E/W (Each-Way) bets mean you split that amount. So if it is a $250 E/W bet, that means $125 on them to win, $125 on them to place (Usually in the Top 5)
No surprise that my system likes Rahm here to win. While not helpful at his odds it’s a good sign that it seems him there. With them playing on two different courses it can affect things somewhat so I’ll just be doing small bets.
$50 on Sam Burns E/W – 25/1.
I just wish his course form was better. He stand out so well on this course. He does seem to be getting better though. Going to take a small shot on him but that course form is a real red flag.
$75 on Will Zalatoris E/W – 40/1. $25 Top 20 2.75.
7th place here previously. For all of the stats he pops up. A surprisingly good price. It looks like his odds have actually dropped off. Not really sure the reasoning for that but I’ll take it. Played good at the Amex.
$75 on Brandt Snedeker E/W – 125/1. $25 Top 20.
A pure course/current form pick. Doesn’t really stand out on the metrics for this course but always performs well.
$50 on Luke List E/W – 90/1. $25 Top 20 4.00.
Playing well at the moment. His putting could be a big concern here. His power should help him contend though.
