Whew – a lot of EPL action this Saturday.
I won’t cover the Sunday games. So many on Saturday to keep us busy so let’s just get straight into that.
Daily Fantasy wise: Goddamn, very tough. You kind of want to load up on Liverpool defensively, but the full backs are rather expensive. Aston Villa aren’t bad as Watford not the best attacking team. Brighton have to be tempting with one of the better defensive records, and going up against Burnley. Arsenal as well defensively.

West Ham vs Newcastle:
Newcastle come in on the back of some really good results. Three in a row. This is a bigger test for them of course but West Ham have had a few stumbles at home.
West H am should have Zouma back but who knows if they even play him.
With the way Newcastle have been playing here, I don’t think you can count them out. I think they have a good chance here and am going with Draw or Newcastle at 2.20 odds.
Arsenal vs Brentford:
Arsenal are very good at home with a 7-2-2 record. Bentford struggles a good bit on the road. Arsenal did have that brutal home performance against Burnley.
It will be tight, but I like Arsenal to win. I am going to put them in a treble bet.
Aston Villa vs Watford:
I really like Aston Villa to win this weekend. At 1.65 they are another part of the treble. They are a strong home side overall and always score here. Have to think they get the business done here this is a very winnable game for them.
Liverpool vs Norwich:
Final part of the treble. Of course upsets happen – but I don’t really have to write too much about why I am backing Liverpool I expect. Treble odds are 2.62.
Brighton vs Burnley:
Two draw specialists. Burnley yet to win away this season. BRighton with the 3-5-3 record. Burnley struggle to score away. I mean they struggle to score period.
Even though Brighton are not the best at goalscoring, this has to be a win for them here. HAS to be. Bad news for them though is Shane Duffy may start. Poor guys.
I’ve analyzed this one and just don’t like a bet.
Crystal Palace vs Chelsea:
Chelsea come in off that confidence boosting win over Tottenham, but they still have issues. They are excellent away while Palace aren’t too bad at home with only 3 losses in 12 games.
Goalscoring wise, Palace are excellent at home as well. I could see a draw here or even Palace winning but am going to bet Both Teams to Score at 1.95 instead. Palace score 1.75 goals on average at home, Chelsea 1.75. Chelsea do have a great defensive record away but very few teams hold Palace to a clean sheet.
Chelsea have also had an erratic schedule and that may cause them issues that will allow Palace to be competitive. They will miss Gallagher for sure but Edouard and Zaha should step up.
Southampton vs Everton:
It all finally clicked for Everton, and they got that big win over Leeds. That was nice to see.
Southampton of course are a damn solid team although again – draw specialists. A lot of them this season it seems.
Love goals in this one, happy to take Over 2.5 goals at 1.72 odds. Both can produce, and this should be a competitive one. I feel like Lampard the way he sets up can invite goals in and both defenses are bottom 10.
Man City vs Tottenham:
No bet for this one. Gotta figure City do the job they are looking great right now. If you’re looking for a prop, Sterling to score anytime at 2.37 seems good to me.
