Apologies for the lateness this week. I was in Milwaukee/Chicago this weekend visiting Vin and work has just been mental these past couple of weeks. Taking a few days off has made things nice and hectic for me.
Nice to take a break from it all though just to dive deep into the golf. Always love this time of just zoning out for a bit.
Props to Xander for winning last week. Not one I could touch with the short price, and how often he is bridesmaid not bride. Always that guy you’re happy to take in your DFS team but not to bet to win!
John Deere Classic Betting Tips:
$62.50 on Martin Laird Top 20 Finish @ 11/4.
A couple of solid finishes here in recent years, 37th & 28th. Made the cut both times and one more over 10 years ago. He was first round leader here two years ago as well His putting has been an issue but it looked very good last week and I think he will be able to build on that.
At 60/1 to win there’s actually probably value on that but I would be very surprised. And extremely gutted. Let’s do a very, very small play of $20 on Laird to win at 60/1 as well.
$62.50 on Christian Bezuidenhout E/W @ 35/1
Disappointed on him missing the cut at the Travels, but he’s generally good at bouncing back. I feel like his game suits this course.
That’s all from me. I know some people like big dogs. Gotterup at 100/1, Hubbard at 80/1 and Armour at 90/1 are the only ones my system likes in that 80+ range. Not official betting tips though and I won’t be betting them myself.
