5-5 last week. It is crazy to me how many losses we’ve had by one point or even a half point this season, two last week on a 10-point loss (Kansas +9) and 14-point win (Ole Miss -14.5).
College football betting tips are 43-39 record this season.
A kind of quiet week after last week’s amazing slate, but still a lot to sink our teeth into.

Iowa vs. Ohio State Betting Tips:
Ohio State hasn’t had the toughest schedule, but they have won their last five games by 31 points or more and I don’t see that stopping here.
Iowa has a great defense, but a historically awful offense. They have three games scoring seven or less, including last week against Illinois. That team is frisky, but they are nowhere near the talent level of this OSU team. This one should get ugly. Don’t watch, just bet.

Kansas vs. Baylor Betting Tips:
I think I blew it on the Kansas pick last week. The real bet was always the over and I somehow missed it. This team can put up points and they also give up a lot of points. Even last week without Jalon Daniels they still put up a huge number. He might be out again this week which is partially why Baylor is a big favorite here.
Baylor is in full on desperation mode here and needs a win after two straight losses. They allowed 36 and 43 in the two losses so I don’t think they’ll be able to get the win back without putting up a big number.

Cincinnati vs. SMU Betting Tips:
UCLA vs. Oregon Betting Tips:
This should be UCLA’s coming out party. The wins against Washington and Utah were impressive and now they’ve had a week off to prepare for this one. A win here and we have a new contender in the PAC-12.
Oregon got absolutely stomped at the start of the season against Georgia, but has got the job done since. If I’m being honest though I am not that impressed. The BYU win seemed nice at the time, but that team has since shown they aren’t quite as tough as we thought they were and that Washington State game, probably the best team they’ve played besides Georgia, sticks out like a sore thumb. They were down 27-15 heading into the fourth quarter before a monstrous comeback. Credit to them for making it, but if they stumble like that here – UCLA does not choke like that.
This seems like UCLA’s time to shine and I’m happy to take the points.
UCLA +6.5
Texas vs. Oklahoma State Betting Tips:
Ole Miss vs. LSU Betting Tips:
Last week’s win over Florida by LSU has a lot more to do with Florida’s defense than any LSU offensive breakthrough. A big week looks nice, but the Tennessee and Auburn games aren’t far from memory. A good defense can shut this team down and Ole Miss has a very good defense. While LSU’s defense looks good on paper, we have back-to-back weeks of 35+ points allowed to good SEC teams.
Ole Miss should win this one outright.
Ole Miss +2.5
