The first game in the Stanley Cup Finals series ended up being a 2-1 victory for Chicago. The Blackhawks started flat and the Lightning took advantage, to go up 1-0. However the Lightning then sat back too deep and the Blackhawks took advantage.
It truly was the beginning of a chess game.
Today we’re getting a great price on Blackhawks to win. 2.10 odds. Yes – Tampa Bay sat back too far that’s for darn sure – but the Blackhawks were also flat and yet still got the win. If they show up flat they’ve got a chance still – yet if they show up fired up and motivated? Well – it’s going to be tough for Tampa.
Tampa are a young team too and you really have to figure that the nerves are going to kick in. I mean really – wouldn’t yours?

UEFA Champions League Final Betting Tips:
This is where we think it’s best to go against the public.
People are blindly betting Barcelona. Understandable. They should be favourites. But everyone is betting them to the point their odds have been deciminted.
Barcelona are not invincible. They lost in the quarter finals last year, and the semi finals the year before. And the semi finals the year before that.
For some reason, Barcelona struggle to wrap it up.
We’d recommend going with Juventus to lift the trophy – including extra time and penalties at 3.40 odds. They have a very strong team, and their midfield is one of the toughest Barcelona have went up against.
It’s a value bet.

UFC Fight Night 68 Betting Tips:
Dan Henderson should not be fighting. To say his chin is gone would be like saying Madeleine McCann has just popped round to the local shops. Boestch is going to beat him. The only question is when he does it. He’s got a few KO victories but he’s yet to KO anyone in the first round of a fight. So it’s iffy. We’d say take that though – Boetsch by KO in Round 1. Can get about +400 odds.
We also think Ben Rothwell is worth a play. 2.62 odds and that’s a nice price for the big man. He has the power to KO Mitrione. We do like Mitrione as a fighter – but a match like this is closer to 50/50.
