It’s Saturday, July 4th and Happy Independence Day to our American readers.
We were up early this morning but not for Independence Day – it was to watch the WWE’s Network Only event, The Beast In The East. We won’t post spoilers if you haven’t watched it yet – but it was a very solid show and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Unfortunately there was no betting action available for it, which is a pity as we would have had a clean 4-0 sweep. Disappointing that we couldn’t make money on it. The next WWE event we can bet on is WWE Battleground 2015, and we’re already placing bets on it. We’ll have the betting tips on that come the weekend of the show, which is July 19th.
The British Grand Prix is the next race in the Formula One season and we posted betting tips yesterday for that, for those interested. Just click down below this article or on the right for the British Grand Prix Betting Tips.
Let’s see what we can dig up today:
Copa America Betting Tips:
The Copa America Final is today, with Chile versus Argentina. It should be quite a great game as both teams have been attacking throughout the tournament. It’s been quite the interesting tournament – a whole lot of bloody dire games but some good ones too, and the good ones usually involve Chile vs Argentina.
Argentina really look like they’re rolling on all cylinders. They struggled against Colombia but got it together against Paraguay and we hope to see more from these two.
It can be a little bit iffy though as both teams know how to defend but you have to hope that with it being the final they go balls to the wall. We’re going to take Over 2.5 goals at 1/1 odds. This should hopefully be a game where both teams put on a ton of pressure and play some great attacking football and it results in a high scoring game.
MLB Betting Tips:
We’ve had some good luck with our run betting lately and we’ll continuet hat with two games. First is Over 8.5 runs in the Brewers vs Red matchup. Brewers are really stepping it up at the moment and we think it will continue here in a nice competitive game.
We’re also on Under 6.5 runs in Mets vs Dodgers. This game is all about the pitchers in Harvey and Greinke and both will be competing with each other. Greinke is just a beast here and this one should go under we think. Can’t see it being high scoring.
That’s all we have for today. We’ll be back tomorrow with more betting tips assuming we aren’t too hungover from Independence Day. Everyone have a great 4th of July. ‘Merica!
