It’s Friday, July 17th 2015 and welcome to todays free sports betting tips.
We hope you’ve enjoyed watching the Open. It really sucked waking up in the middle of the night only to find it was suspended due to the rain – but it’s more than made up with it with the pairing of Matsuyama, Spieth and Dustin Johnson.
It’s been probably the best day of watching golf in awhile – just those three performing so damn good. It was also cool seeing Matsuyama outshine the others with all those birdies to start the day off.
As of this writing, our bet Dustin Johnson is still in the lead by 1 – and based on his history of choking, we’re hoping he can keep that up and extend it.
Our long shot bet Tommy Fleetwood, a 69 first day is now really struggling with a +4 day currently. David Howell has been solid and is hanging in there – he was an 80/1 so would be great to see that come in.
Anyhoo – July 17th, let’s get to the betting tips:
WNBA Betting Tips:
We’re going to te taking the Indiana Fever +2 tonight against the Washington Mystics. The Fever have been on an excellent run, and based on the last few games they should win this one outright and dominate it. Their road results are 3-2 and we’re hoping to see them add onto that. This should be a very close game, but we like the Fever to sneak it. It’s great watching them play and we hope they continue this way. Especially tonight!!!
That’s all for WNBA although Sky are borderline. +7 isn’t bad but we think it will be thereabouts like 6 or 8. More likely 6 but not enough for the bet.
CFL Betting Tips:
Tonight the CFL has two games for us: the Edmonton Eskimos take on the Ottawa Redblacks and the B.C. Lions will take on the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
Last time out the Eskimos dominated Ottawa so we are very surprised to see the 3.5 point spread. We understand that Ottawa got off to a good start but the Eskimos just looked like an absolutely horrible matchup for them. The RedBlacks have made a few changes but we see nothing to suggest anything but another dominating result for the Edmonton Eskios. Take the Eskimos -3.5.
We’ve also got the B.C. Lions in action, and we think they are going to lose. The Riders have had a horrible start to the season but we believe they have what it takes to beat the Lions, and cover the point spread. We’re seeing different lines but go with the Roughriders -3 even if it means giving more juice, as this could be tight.
Bellator 140 Betting TIps:
First of all we’ll take a heavy favourites parlay. We’ll go with Michael Page, Paul Daley and Brennan Ward. It only comes to about -250 but it’s a decent enough play as it would be a massive shock for any of the three to lose.
We’re also going to take Douglas Lima vs Andrey Korsehkov Under 2.5 rounds. These guys have a LOT of finishes in the early rounds with a combined 24 finishes in the 1st round alone. They’re going to come out fast and strong and either guy can win. We actually think the underdog Korsehkov might do it but just not enough to justify it – with Lima coming back you never know what type of fighter will be back.
