Welcome to the Sports Betting Tips for September 26th, 2015.
October is almost upon us, and we hope to have a winning end to the month. We’re riding a lot on Jordan Spieth in the Tour Championship and hopefully he can deliver for us.
We’re also busy watching the soccer where as I type this Leicester have went 1-0 up on Arsenal. Let’s hope that continues!
We’re also anxiously waiting the F1 tomorrow. We tipped Nico Rosberg to win and he picked up pole position. If you bet say $15 on him to win you can cash it out at Bet365 for $25 – but we’d recommend keeping it on for the full $80. He’s in a prime position and it’s his race to lose now. After some weak races lately we want him to step up tomorrow.
For now let’s get to the betting tips for today, as we cover the sports of tomorrow:
Watford vs Crystal Palace Betting Tips:
A very quiet day in the Barclays Premier League, with just Watford vs Crystal Palace on the board. Not even worth waking up for!
We like Watford for the win at 6/4 odds. Watford have had two very solid back to back results which are an away win over Newcastle and a home win over Swansea. Palace DID beat Chelsea a few weeks ago – but they’ve went through the gauntlet of Spurs and Man City and it always takes a team a little while to get back on their feet.
Both are sitting right beside each other on 9 points so it’s an even game. Watford are missing Behrami again through suspension but they showed they don’t need him last time out and we’ll hope they can do it again.
And Arsenal just equalized. Ugh. Horrible defending by Leicester to let that ball slip in to Walcott.
NFL Betting Tips:
We’ll cover the early games in todays betting tips – the 1pm kickoffs – and then we’ll have betting tips up tomorrow morning covering the afternoon and evening games.
It’s a rather awkward line, but we’ll take the Carolina Panthers -8 over the Saints. Panthers have started well but you can tell throughout the week that they aren’t getting complacent and know they need to work hard. They’re at home against a Saints team who are missing Drew Brees. That’s a huge loss for the Saints and McCown just is not anywhere close to him. Panthers have a strong killer instinct and they won’t be happy unless they dominate this one big time.
You just gotta bet Jets -2 over the Eagles. That’s one of those weird lines where it’s based on the Eagles and their team and their expectations, and not the way they’re playing. The Jets have been extremely solid and this Todd Bowles defense looks excellent. Have to take the Jets here and if we’re wrong we’ll we’re wrong.
We like the Colts to explode this week but you still have to be careful with that. There’s a lot of the same thinking on that as there is with the Eagles. Colts are a lot better team who should be absolutely dominating though – they’ve had some humbling experiences so we’ll take them to bounce back this week.
