Where to start with this week’s Lawro Audit? Well, first of all, we can’t ignore Chelsea, can we? Actually, we can. Let’s just say they had a shocked against Liverpool, and no doubt Mark Lawrenson was over the moon seeing his beloved Liverpool win. And no doubt his week got even better as he watched Arsenal get stuffed 5-1 by Bayern Munich. We’ve also had Louis van Gaal keep Manchester United as the most boring team in the world, while Leicester just keep on winning and doing it in style. Seriously, is there a better team to watch right now than Leicester? Well, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Real Madrid and probably Arsenal, but the Foxes are right up there in terms of entertainment.

But let’s get onto how the great Mark Lawrenson got on last week with his tips, because that’s what you’ve come here for, as always. Now, Lawro had a shocker in Week 11 of the audit, but I hope you kept faith, because he had an absolute belter last week. He predicted 6 results correctly, and got 2 correct scores along the way. Now, what does that leave the Lawro Audit? Well, he made a profit of 12.84 units, which takes the Lawro Audit back up to a healthy +15.43 units. We’re back to having a nice and healthy looking holiday fund after last week’s poor showing from Britain’s greatest prediction specialist, Mark Lawrenson.

So let’s get down to Mark Lawrenson’s predictions for this week’s Barclays Premier League fixtures. But we can’t remember that our friends at Bet365 are doing their Bore Draw promotion again this week. Remember, if you place a bet of up to on any of the correct score, half-time/full-time or scorecast markets, and the game finishes 0-0, Bet365 will refund your money. So once you’ve looked at Lawro’s tips, head on over to our good friends at Bet365 and get your money down.

Bournemouth vs Newcastle

Have the rails fallen off the Bournemouth wagon? After a bright enough start, they’re struggling to get results to go their way and they’re leaking goals left, right and centre. But does Lawro thing they can turn things around against fellow strugglers Newcastle? Sort of. He’s going for a 1-1 draw. A novel concept for Lawro. The draw is 12/5 and the correct score is a paltry 6/1.

Why not hedge your bets and get stuck into Bet365’s Bore Draw promotion? Head on over to Bet365 and get involved. As 0-0 seems just as likely as Lawro’s prediction of 1-1, so have a bet on 1-1 and when it invariably ends 0-0, get your money back. Although since Bournemouth are so poor at the back, it’ll probably end up 4-4 – a classic result.

Leicester vs Watford

An exciting game, actually, with two form teams going head-to-head. Leicester, as I mentioned earlier, are exciting and are flying high at the moment. As for Watford, for a team that has struggled to score, they’ve not looked dangerous in front of goal. But where does Lawro see this game going? Well, another draw, actually. And 1-1, of course. So it’s 11/4 for the draw and it’s 13/2 for the correct score. Personally, I think Leicester are cracking value at 4/5. Get involved, it’s Leicester’s to lose!

Manchester United vs West Brom

Is the pressure on Louis van Gaal? Well, probably not. But surely they have to start playing more attractive football some time soon. Well, they probably don’t need to play sexy football to beat West Brom, and Lawro thinks Manchester United will be leaving Old Trafford victorious as 2-0 winner. It’s 1/3 for the home win and a really, really short 5/1 for the correct score. Me, Manchester United are that boring that it’ll probably end up 1-0. Boring.

Norwich vs Swansea

Ugh. Poor Swansea fans having to travel the width of England to watch this. It might be exciting, sure, but both sides have both been pretty poor and have questions to answer. Anyway, Lawro’s going for a 2-1 win to Norwich, and it’s 6/4 for the home win and 9/1 for the correct score. I honestly don’t care. From a betting perspective, it’s a tough one and there’s no value. Go with Lawro and when he wins we’ll all be laughing as our holiday fund continues to grow.

Sunderland vs Southampton

Are things going to get better for Sunderland? To be fair, even if they only concede 5 goals against Southampton, that means things will be getting better. Southampton are on a nice run as of late, bur Lawro is thinking that Sunderland can get a point here with a 1-1. Yeah, it’s boring for Lawro to predict this, but anyway, the draw pays 5/2 and the correct score is 6/1. To be fair, there’s no value on Southampton at 8/11, considering they’ve had to travel the length of the country almost for Saturday’s game.

West Ham vs Everton

A tough game to predict here. Both sides are up and down every week, and both sides have a win over Chelsea to their name, but Everton did manage to put 6 past the awful Sunderland last week. Lawro’s going for a 1-1 draw here, again, and the draw is 23/10 and the correct score is 6/1. Yeah, I agree with Lawro here, a score draw looks the sensible play here.

Stoke vs Chelsea

Chelsea are odds-against, marginally. Seriously. Now, Stoke are a bit of an inconsistent team, but the same can be said of Chelsea. Now, I seem to say Chelsea are value every week, but maybe not this week. But Lawro is going for the away win here, and he’s going for 2-1. It’s 21/20 for Chelsea, which looks just a bit too thin for me. However, a better price of 17/2 for the correct score. My advice, go with your gut on this one. Or go with Lawro.

Aston Villa vs Manchester City

It’s not going to be pretty, is it? And things aren’t going to get any better for Aston Villa. Although, to be fair, City weren’t that convincing against Norwich last week. But Villa weren’t great on Monday against Spurs, either. I think a Manchester City win, Lawro thinks they same and he’s going for a 2-0 win. As expected, Manchester City are a short enough price of 4/9 and the correct score of 2-0 is the favourite in the market at 13/2.

Arsenal vs Tottenham

You know what, I love this derby. Yes, I prefer Rangers vs Celtic, but God it’s great seeing the passion and also the real banter between the fans as soon as the final whistle goes. Both sides are coming back from European duty, and Arsenal will be nursing a horrible hangover from their absolute hammering from Bayern Munich. But anyway, Lawro’s going for another 1-1 draw here, because he’s unimaginative. The draw is 3/1 and the correct score is 15/2. I’m still not rating Spurs, to be fair, and I can see an Arsenal win in a tight one, but then what do I know? I’m not the prediction God, that’s Mark Lawrenson.

Liverpool vs Crystal Palace

Of course Lawro’s going for a win here. Would he predict anything else for his beloved boys in red? Of course not. Especially against perceived weaker opposition in Crystal Palace. He’s going for a 2-1 to Liverpool, and that’s fair enough. But remember, Liverpool have had a European game, while Palace have had nothing but training to worry about. But the Liverpool win is 4/6 and the correct score is 8/1. I’ll take the draw here, an exciting 2-2 draw.

As expected, it’s 1-1 draws galore this week. Does Lawro realise that he’s becoming incredibly predictable? Mr Lawrenson, if you read this, let me know why you go for so many 1-1 draws and 2-0 wins for the favourites. It’s getting boring.
