The first game in Group C takes place early on, with Colombia vs Greece. Then later on Ivory Coast will take on Japan, in a game that promises to be an interesting one.

As close as the odds are on this one, we’re fairly confident in the Ivory Coast.
They weren’t the greatest in qualifying. In the CAF 2nd round they did manage to beat everyone except Morocco who they struggled against. They’ve looked average in their friendlies – but a 2-2 draw against a tricky Belgium side is nothing to sneeze at. Of course Japan managed to defeat Belgium in a friendly.
Just matching up the two teams however, the system likes the Ivory Coast to do the business against Japan. It has them more as evens, so an 8/5 price is with value.
So I would bet Ivory Coast to win.
The one that really appeals to us though, is Over 2.5 goals. At 7/5 we think that’s a very good price. Japan are a team who – pardon the pun – start to go kamikaze in the second half. Ivory Coast usually have a fair amount of high scoring games.
