Last night we saw the Warriors show the world why they are the team that is favorited to win it all this year. After their struggles in the first game of the series they put together a complete, crisp game and blew out the Thunder by 27 points. This series will get interesting as we head down to Oklahoma City where the crowds have been absolutely electric in the playoffs thus far. They should help the Thunder get to another level and help to take this series to another level.

Tonight we have game two of the Raptors and Cavaliers series and if Toronto plays like they did in Game 1, you can probably find something else to watch. Down over 20 at halftime, they did not look like a team that was deserving of making the conference championship game. Lebron James absolutely went off on them and they didn’t have an answer for him. Which is fine, a lot of teams don’t have an answer for Lebron James, but they didn’t even attempt to answer it which is a big problem. The Cavs are a 12.5 point favorite tonight and I’m not sure if that’s high enough.

NBA Betting Tips:

You can’t even blame game one on the lack of Jonas Valuncunias because the Raptors did not have an answer for Cleveland on either end of the floor. The Cavs just have too much firepower on offense and Tristan Thompson is just too devastating down low grabbing rebounds. I’d love for this to be a series and for the Cavs to get challenged before the Finals, but that is not happening tonight. Maybe in Toronto? Anyways, Cavs -12.5 is the play tonight.

MLB Betting Tips:

Today’s best pitching match-up goes down in New York as Matt Harvey of the Mets goes against the Nationals and Stephen Strasburg. These are two of the best pitchers in baseball doing battle for the NL East’s top two teams. This whole series has been great and today should be no different. I love this pitching match-up, but I really love Stephen Strasburg this season. He’s 6-0 with a 2.95 ERA and 1.07 WHIP thus far and he just signed a big extension to stay in Washington. This just feels like his year and I think he’ll grab the win today for his team. Nationals -121

Kendall Graveman has not been great for the Athletics this season with a 1-5 record with a 5.84 ERA. He’s been hit very hard lately, giving up five homeruns in his last two games and faces a Yankees offense that is slowly starting to come around. I don’t love his chances today, especially with Ivan Nova on the other mound looking great thus far this season with just a 1.74 ERA. This should be a good Yankees -118 win to bring them closer to .500.

Any chance I get to take the Dodgers (or Cubs) at a decent money line, I’m taking. The Dodgers +121 is a weird line considering they are going against the lowly Angels and Jhoulys Chacin. Sure, he’s had recent success against them, but he doesn’t have anywhere near the support that we can reasonably expect him to beat the Dodgers.
