Welcome to the free sports betting tips for Monday, June 6th, 2016.

We have a big weekend, but the main news coming out of the weekend is that Brock Lesnar is going to be fighting at UFC 200 next month. Does it get bigger than that in terms of news? Well, not really, actually. We had Game Two of the NBA Finals, but the Beast back in UFC and WWE agreeing to it, it’s really big. We also lost the legend that is Muhammad Ali over the weekend, and we were all gutted about that in the Sports Betting Tips offices.

Throughout Europe, we had international friendlies, with most of Euro 2016s contenders getting their line-ups finalised for their opening fixtures next week. Just a quick shout out to Scotland, as Graeme and I are both Scots, who continued to stink up the international scene, this time losing 3-0 to France, after their 1-0 defeat to Italy last week. Thank God we didn’t qualify for Euro 2016, as we would undoubtedly still struggle to make it out of the group, even with a chance of getting through in 3rd place. It’s not a great time to be a Scottish football fan, but is there ever a good time? No.

So, let’s get to the free sports betting tips for today, June 6th, 2016.

NHL Betting Tips

We’re already into the four game of this year’s Stanley Cup, and it’s all been going exactly according to plan. Has it been exciting? Actually, it has. Has it been tight? Hell yeah. The Penguins took a 2-0 lead on home ice, then the Blues got back home and closed the gap to 2-1. The key to this series has been the defence, which has actually been surprising, given how dominant the Blues have been in front of goal. I was expecting three really high-scoring games, but I guess the nerves of the big time have gotten to them all, including all the big guns you would be expecting to bag the goals. The Blues look likely to win here, given the way the series has gone, but there’s no real value there. Instead, look for it to be another tight one, given that we’ve seen the three games decided by one goal so far. Under 5.5 goals is our play tonight.

Copa America Betting Tip

The Copa America us underway, and we have a huge game tonight between Argentina and Chile, in a game that will probably decide the winner of the group. There’s questions around talismanic player Lionel Messi, but assuming he’s fit, Chile are going to struggle to stop him. While Chile are usually a strong side, they’re been struggling as of late, with four defeats in their last six pointing to their ageing side show signs that the defending champions are going to struggle this year.

Argentina are a huge price odds-against, and although Chile are strong, I just think the age of their side is starting to count against them. Argentina know what’s at stakes, and is Messi is even at 80% fitness, it will be enough to get them past Chile.
