Hi everyone,
Sorry about the delay with the betting tips today. We were getting our offices redone and that was just a disaster in terms of having to yank everything out and so on, then getting it all sorted again.
All done now though – and then we had to spend a few hours studying the golf.
We’ve got golf betting tips and NHL betting tips for you all tonight so let’s get to it.
Golf Betting Tips:
There’s a lot of golf this week including the Volvo Matchplay, but our betting tips are going to be focused over four tournaments taking place in the PGA, LPGA, European Tour and Champions Tour.
We have had back to back cashes, with Kirk Triplett winning last week in the Champions Tour for 22/1 odds, and Tommy Fleetwood cashing Top 5 at 25/1 odds. Hopefully our hot run can continue.
Greater Hickory Classic Betting Tips:
The Champions Tour, which is in North Carolina. We’re going with Kirk Triplett at 14/1 odds. That’s a great price for someone who quite honestly is playing the best golf he has played in a long time. Triplett has just been killing it and yet he’s coming into this as the 4th favourite.
We’re also going with Fred Funk. Funk has rocked it at this course before, and has an incredible tour really – Funk has managed to finish in the top 10 the last 3 tournaments which is huge.
Funk is a whopping 18/1 so that’s a great price.
Hong Kong Open Betting Tips:
The European Tour, and with a lot of contenders away at the Volvo World Match Play Championships we’ve not got a lot of possibilities. We’re actually just going with one betting tip which is Miguel Angel Jimenez. The old man has shown he still has it this year, and has won this tournament twice in a row on this very course.
Shriners Open Betting Tips:
Only one pick for this tournament which is held in Vegas, and that’s Ryan Moore. 25/1 price and back him each way. The PGA tour is still young and it’s very tricky at this point. Moore has won here previously and we feel the price of 20/1 is good value.
LPGA KEB-Hanabank Betting Tips:
Last but certainly not least – the LPGA.
In South Korea this week, we’re backing Na Yeon Choi. She is the 2nd favourite at 11/1 and we feel based on her golf lately she should be the easy favourite.
We’re also going with Pornanong Phatlum. A risky one at 33/1 but she’s on form and could get a top 5 finish.
Finally for the KEB-Hanabank we have Se Ri Pak. Massive longshot at 66/1 but it takes just one course to turn things around. Pak has played at this course before and got some good scores, and with the pressure off she may just surprise us. We bloody hope so anyway.
NHL Betting Tips October 15th, 2014:
We have one betting tip tonight which is in the Bruins vs Red Wings game.
Everyone is just waiting for the Bruins to explode and turn things around – and maybe they will. Tonight could be the night. But with Red Wings having beaten them before, Detroit at home and the Bruins struggling – we’ll take the Red Wings at +100.
