Well, maybe not for first place, but Liverpool started the weekend in second, but by the end of the weekend they were looking at almost dropping out of the Champions League places if they weren’t careful. Yes, Liverpool lost 3-2 at Anfield to Swansea. If was only marginally better for Manchester City, as they blew a two goal lead to draw 2-2 with Spurs at the Etihad. Of course, the great Lawro predicted it at the weekend, so we shouldn’t have been surprised.

NHL Betting Tips
The first game I want to look at is the headline game of the Leafs against the Flames. The Leafs will be glad to be getting out of Toronto after losing their last two at home. Of course, that shouldn’t worry them too much, as they are 6-2-2 in their last ten games and that includes a three-game winning run just before their two loses. And what better way to get out of the losing run than facing the Flames, who are really in dire straits right now? I like the Leafs to get back to winning ways in a big way tonight, so take Leafs in regulation tonight.
NBA Betting Tips
One tip in the NBA tonight, and it should come as no surprise given the public’s love for this line. Yes, Atlanta -7.5 is a line I’m loving. The Hawks are incredibly hot right now, and they’re facing a Clippers side still missing Blake Griffin and Chris Paul. The stats don’t lie and Los Angeles are 0-7 when both men are out of action. It really doesn’t bode well for the Clippers and I can’t see any reason that the Hawks aren’t going to run riot on the depleted team.
