We’ve had two great races to open up the Formula 1 season, and we’ve had two great betting weeks for the races as well. We’ve profited nicely by accurately predicting the winner of each race, as well as providing some great longshot bets.

This week, we have the Bahrain Grand Prix – and then we’ve got a weeks break prior to the UBS Chinese Grand Prix.

Bahrain is going to be an interesting course, and one thing you should note that Rosberg at 9/4 is probably too high. I mean seriously – Mercedes is so far ahead at the moment that a gremlin or dodgy pit stop will hand Rosberg the race. Some value there.

Here’s our Bahrain F1 Betting Tips – partly computer generated and simulated:

Winner of Bahrain F1 GP: Lewis Hamilton

Hamilton dominated in Sepang, and was quicker than Rosberg in Australia before the race. Mercedes is obviously just a class ahead of everyone else in the field at the moment. As long as there’s no drama, Hamilton will take this one.

You might want to go for the hat-trick as well, of Pole, Win AND Fastest Lap. That’s how much we believe in Lewis Hamilton this week.

Non-Mercedes Value Bet: Sebastian Vettel

Vettel has won this race in the last two years, and Red Bull actually look like they are sorting their one main issue which is reliability. Obviously the car is down on power compared to Mercedes, but we’re on a course that has medium speed corners, and that will play to Vettels strengths.

Don’t have to worry as much about high temperatures either due to it being a late race. Nice value for Vettel at https://www.Bovada.lv at least for a podium finish.

Underdog Bet: Felipe Massa

Prices at 28/1 I wouldn’t be backing him to win. But he does well on this course with wins in 2007 and 2008. Williams are undervalued at the moment due to their weak performances in last two races, but you have to look back at how well they performed in the pre-season.

There’s not been a dry qualifying session yet and looking back at Malaysia, Williams were very economical with their fuel. That will be essential in Bahrain, which has the worst fuel consumption stats.

Look for Massa to finish high, and back him at https://www.Bovada.lv.
