It’s Friday and we’ve got a Formula 1 race this weekend.
Last time out was the Russian Grand Prix and we had the one winner with Kimi Raikkonen when I correctly tipped him to get the podium finish.
That was a hell of a race with Bottas the surprise winner of it. There was the usual Russian drama with the start being aborted due to Alonsos car. What a mess that was and that probably helped Bottas big time. If it wasn’t for that Vettel probably would have taken it.
We turn our attention to the Spanish Grand Prix this week.
I’ll also cover the NHL Conference Finals at the bottom of this article.
F1 Spanish Grand Prix Betting Tips:
I’m on Vettel to win the Spanish Grand Prix. I think after Russia he’s going to be extra motivated. He had a tremendous race to be honest during that one. I like him to continue that momentum. On top of that the Ferraris were lighting quick in the pre season testing, and looking at the early season form it’s not a fluke.
I’m also taking Sergio Perez for a Top 6 Finish. I like what I’ve seen from Force India so far during the season. They’re quiet but have had a good little start. Perez also does well on this track. If the front runners struggle – and they often do here – Perez could slip into the top 6 no problem.
Finally I’m on Stroll for a points finish. He’s been settling down as of late which he had to do and I think we’ll see the rewards here. Williams is a points worthy car and he won’t need to learn the track which is a plus.
NHL Conference Finals Betting Tips:
I hope everyone enjoyed a nice winning night on Wednesday with my Game 7 picks. The Penguins one was 2.65 odds and above and that was a nice cash!
In the West I’m taking Ducks to win the series. Yeah they’re the underdogs and the Preds are looking great but I have faith in Randy Carlyle. See before the season began, the Ducks brought him in because they were tired ot post-season failures. Carlyle has came in and already wiped the slate in terms of the Game 7 hoodoo.
I like that to continue. I think he’s the most prepared and they beat one of the best teams in the Oilers. The Oilers were shut down for most of that Game 7 and that’s a major accomplishment by the Ducks.
Finally I’m taking the Senators to win. I’ve been extremely impressed with Ottawa who have been big underdogs both times yet managed to get through. Not only that but they DESERVE to get through. They’ve played some damn good hockey.
They also beat the Pittsburgh Penguins twice during the regular season. Ottawa have shown that they deserve to be here and while they deserve to be underdogs – they don’t deserve to be them at this price. This is an absolute steal. Senators should be around 2.50 to 2.75 at best. I’m happy backing them here. Who knows how much Crosby will even play.
